The platform is the result of the ongoing research and development activities that Apconet Holding has carried on since the beginning to become a global and key player in the digital media market. For this reason, the platform itself is guaranteed to deliver extreme reliability and performance in advanced services.

All activities, including development, services configuration and administration, can be performed using a friendly Web Interface that allows a secure remote system access.
The overall system health can be constantly checked by using an integrated monitoring system that allows controlling the whole platform.

Framework

Our platform is based on our proprietary integrated application framework which has been entirely developed by our R&D team. The platform infrastructure runs on the Linux operating system, the MySQL RDBMS and the Apache web server, providing the benefits of an open standard architecture with minimal additional software license costs. The peculiar architecture is based on a grid of relatively inexpensive servers. This allows great scalability and low upgrade costs. Its simple hardware and software architecture allows maintaining a low TCO, even at large installations serving millions of customers.
In addition, the easiness of distributed system configuration, allows creating geographically distributed installations that make it easy to balance the workload and to perform disaster recovery policies.
